NGO, Import-Export & Business Licences

Setup and licence assistance for non-profits, importers, exporters and regulated businesses.

When this service fits

Non-profits and regulated businesses face a distinct layer of registrations: entity formation, tax-exemption registrations, trade licences and sector-specific permits. Each has its own authority, forms and renewal cycles. Vivekshala helps you identify which licences apply to your activity and manages the applications in an organised sequence.

How an engagement works

We identify the registrations and licences your activity legally requires.

  2. Prepare applications

Documents are collected and each application is prepared for the correct authority.

  3. File and follow up

We file, respond to queries and track each application to a decision.

  4. Track renewals

You receive a register of licences and renewal dates to stay compliant.

Frequently asked questions

Should I form a trust, a society or a Section 8 company?

It depends on your objectives, governance preferences and funding plans. Section 8 companies suit donors who prefer corporate-style governance; trusts and societies can be simpler. We compare the options for your case.

What are 12A and 80G registrations for an NGO?

12A registration exempts the NGO's own income from tax, while 80G allows your donors to claim deductions on donations. Both require applications to the income-tax department and are not automatic.

Do I need an IEC to import or export?

For commercial import or export, an Importer Exporter Code from DGFT is generally required. We handle the application and any later amendments.

Which licences does a small shop or restaurant need?

Typically a Shops and Establishment registration, trade licence and FSSAI registration or licence for food businesses, with further permits depending on activity and city. We map the exact list for your case.
